Racer Sportif is embarking on 30 years as one of North American foremost cycling pro shops in Toronto. In January of 2006, I participated in a photo shoot after the bike shop required custom photographs of their Aquila Cycles bicycle line for promotional material. I assisted in this photo shoot along side of Steve Pell and Jaymz Van Hees.
Back in January of 2006 on my way to Ireland for my four month international exchange, I had a stopover flight in London, England. Having never flown before, the experience felt unreal. I spent four days in London, venturing across all the major tourist areas and taking in the sights. I have selected a few of the favourite photographs below including, the Natural History Museum, Big Ben and some great graffiti artwork pieces.
I had a chance to photograph baby Jacob in a friend’s studio back in early 2006. Jacob was full of silly faces and was a great child to work with. I especially loved the contrast between his bright blue eyes with the dynamic red chair as a prop. At only a few months old during this shoot, Jacob was a real character in front of the camera.
